Meanwhile JA released the new single "Saturday Bride" on August 2nd, got a great response when played on BBC 6 Music.

The summer smash is perfectly produced by CR Clark and performed by Cordoba and Frederick  - a meeting between Prefab Sprout and Frankie Knuckles on the shores of a Swiss Lake.

The song takes a plaintive, romantic view of our relationship with friends and neighbours across the Channel. "I threw a stone on my own heart....One Jack Adaptor fan suggested we collect all the stones and build a bridge!

Available to download from Bandcamp or here from us at saturday-bride and available for streaming via Spotify.

The single is the first taste of the new LP, due for release on September 27th 2019. "The Gilded Sound" is the third in Jack Adaptor's loose trilogy of metaphysical LPs, following 2018's  "The Spoiler Versions" and "Spirit is the Power". It rocks, is groovy and melodic and out soon.
